Design
As an integral part of Jeep’s portfolio, the Compass retains the famous seven-slot grille but has a more modern aesthetic appeal. Each slot is now darkened and incorporates a radiator-style pattern to draw more attention when you’re making your rounds through Salisbury. Flanking it are standard LED headlights that are slim in appearance, creating an ultra-modern look that doesn’t make concessions on luminosity potential. Certain exterior paint choices are also bright, especially the Joose1 color that captures the essence of the orange hue in an autumn leaf. Its vividness looks striking when underscored by the standard 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, though you can always opt for the optional 19-inch painted satin granite crystal alternatives if you prefer more traditional-looking spokes.
Performance
There are few subcompact SUVs that appeal to the outdoorsy type, as well as the 2026 Jeep Compass does. Offered generously as a standard feature is a 4WD system, which, as many who enjoy the occasional trail run know, is a crucial amenity for off-roading. But, because this vehicle is on the smaller side, it still manages to net 23/31/26 MPG city/hwy/combined2 in estimated fuel economy ratings despite the extra weight the drivetrain adds to the Compass overall. The Compass also demonstrates its swiftness with a standard 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 200 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft. of torque. Shift into drive, give a firm press to the accelerator pedal, and the mechanisms that make up the standard 8-speed automatic transmission will spool up immediately.
Interior
Taking your kids to Schumacher Park in the middle of frigid winter means layering up, though you may not need to wear as many because of how quickly the standard heated seats and steering wheel in the Jeep Compass work to ensure your body feels warm. If your children like to feel a warm breeze graze their cheeks as you venture through US-13, the optional rear HVAC system will mimic the temperature that you’ve set the cabin to. There are also beverage holders in the second-row seats offered as standard amenities, cutting down on your little ones asking you to find a place to situate their juice or water while you trek along. Even if you happen to hit a speed bump and a few drops of their beverages land on the available leather seats, their durable material is quick to clean. “ Purchased a brand new Tahoe Z71 from this dealership two weeks ago. Actually had it bought before it hit their lot. I live in a state that doesn’t require front license plates. Instead of using clips or brackets or even putting the temp tag in the window, they chose to drill holes into the molding of my brand new vehicle. Imagine my surprise when I removed the front holder to find the holes they drilled. They said they’d plug the holes and paint it. Totally unacceptable. The vehicle is brand new. It is not a used vehicle with blemishes already. It needs to be replaced with a new one! ”

“ Place has gone down. My wife had a bad experience 3 years ago where they treated her like horribly. I though maybe this was a one time incident but then it happened to me and I stopped going. I went against my better judgement by trying to save time and not having to go to two different dealerships. I get complimentary state inspection here and I decided get oil change. They have always accepted a competitors coupon and this time the service manager straight up told me no because it was way too much of a discount compared to their normal pricing. However they sent in the mail a coupon pamphlet stating bring a competitors coupon and we'll match it. Ive reported them to Chevrolet Corporate and I hope something is done about it. Don't go here take your money somewhere else l, where they'll appreciate you as a consumer. ”
